This scheme comprised of 44 luxurious apartments in an unique town centre retreat and required the construction of both the substructure and superstructure; including groundworks, drainage, services, a transfer slab and 5 subsequent slabs above. Each of these slabs were circa 600m2 and a 3 week floor cycle was achieved.
Undercroft parking was formed in tar macadam. Due to the curvature on plan of the structure, considerable pre construction planning regarding falsework and formwork designs were undertaken. This resulted in an Aluma truss tableform system being employed for the slabs and Peri trio panels for the walls. As well as this high specification finishes to the first lift radius columns were also required.
