Groundworks

CONTRACT DURATION: 5 Years 

Mixed use new build / refurbishment project with 450 dwellings set within the historic city walls and the River Stour. 

Tamdown have completed the remediation and groundworks on all phases working within the peat soils, installation of gas membranes, concrete podiums and basements and flood storage system. As well as this an intensive groundwater treatment system was required to clean up the water pumped out to facilitate excavations, in order that it could be disposed of down the foul sewer under appropriate consent from the regulatory authorities.
