The Tamdown Group provides innovative and cost effective construction solutions to our client and our people and relationship based approach makes us stand out from the competition.
Founded in 1974 and based in Braintree, Essex, Tamdown employs over 500 people with annual sales of £70 million. The principal areas of operation are the South East, London, Home Counties and East Anglia, although we also work outside these areas.
The Group’s main client list comprises of blue chip companies; some of whom we have worked with for over 30 years and other more recent main contractor clients.
Our construction teams have worked on some of the most high profile mixed-use developments in the South East. The business specialises in infrastructure work, concrete frame, remediation and groundworks. Typical contract values range from £0.5million to £15million.
Our Structures and Shell and Core divisions are increasingly in demand with our clients. These divisions manage (technically and commercially) the construction of reinforced concrete frames for industrial and residential clients and in many cases these also form part of our civil engineering activities.
